LG has launched a plan for a new equipment lineup that will be able to be improved with new hardware attachments, download new software, or maybe both. The intention is to provide more flexibility to households with their devices and allow them to adjust or even add after-facts to accommodate changes that can be done by life.
According to LG President Lyu Jae-Cheol, by making up-class equipment can be upgraded. Encourage return to the idea ideas planned and provide customers with equipment they can use for years.
“We want customers to experience the feeling of getting a washing machine or a new refrigerator throughout the life cycle of the LG tool, not only the first time they brought the goods home,” Jae-cheol said in the announcement.
Although this upgraded option can vary based on certain models and regions of tools, both of which can affect availability for various reasons, it opens up many possibilities.
The nature of the equipment that can be upgraded itself, LG has high expectations. It argues that we will be able to add or improve function in our current equipment than having to exchange it with different models that fit our new needs.
One example given is that the performance of the LG Puricare Air Purifier can be improved – if, for example, a new pet will enter the image – by transferring the previous filter for a pet care filter that will do more comprehensive work and fur in the air. Likewise, different accessories can be purchased and added to LG dryers so that it can better handle various types of fabrics, or perform better in different climates if you have moved.
The plan is for LG to start introducing this upgrade equipment later this year, starting with a washing machine and dryer. After that, he plans to release somewhere around 20 types of equipment that can be upgraded throughout the remaining 2022. The price of this equipment and their add-on is not detailed.
