Steam Deck Dynamic Cloud Sync could be a game changer

The last few days have been interesting for the steam deck update. Previously, Valve revealed that the steam deck would support the anti-cheat EPIC which was easy above the top battleye, giving the steam deck support for the two largest anti-cheat in the industry. At present, we are studying that the steam deck will support a feature called dynamic Cloud Sync, and it is very interesting for those who plan to divide their game time between steam and desktop decks or their laptops.

Sync Cloud Dynamic Steam Deck, basically, features that allow you to pause your game on the steam deck and take it in the same place on another device. Valve, it seems, expecting a lot of people to use a steam stack in the same way as they use the Nintendo switch and suspend the game when they finish playing by putting a steam deck into sleep mode.

With dynamic cloud synchronization, the player can suspend the game on the steam deck and then proceed from the same place on another machine. So, if you are in the middle of the stage, you can bring up a steam deck into sleep mode then sit on your desktop and continue where you leave it. The better is the fact that Valve says deck steam will automatically download any changes to the gim Save to Dump Steam when the player tries to continue the deferred game after playing on another device.

In short: not all steam games will support synchronization dynamic cloud deck steam, but the valve will like it. In a post to the SteamWorks development blog, Valve said that developers were not required to support dynamic cloud synchronization, even though the company recommended it because it would “give players the best experience.” In a game that does not support dynamic Cloud synchronization, you will be asked to return to Steam Deck to close the game you are playing before you can launch it on any other device.

The good news is that the synchronization of dynamic cloud uses a steam vapor system, which has been baked into a ton of the game. Developers need to integrate dynamic cloud synchronization heat with their games and then publish updated buildings before they can turn on features, but the fact that this is based on steam vapor – the system that has been used by many developers – means adoption of dynamic cloud synchronization must also be high.

Dynamic Cloud Sync can be a feature that takes the steam deck from the good to be great. The gaming prospect of the Handheld PC is quite interesting, but when you add something like dynamic cloud synchronization into the mixture, the steam deck is likely to be more attractive to many PC gamers. The steam deck is due in February 2022, so don’t be surprised if we hear more about it in a few days and next week.
